Parrish Phillips, Senior Executive Director
Parrish is the opening Administrator of The 501 and has worked in the Senior Living industry for 6 years. Prior to that he spent more than 20 years in the hospitality industry having worked in world-class hotels, resorts, and private member clubs throughout the United States. Parrish has found his true passion in Senior Living, and he enjoys being able to make a positive impact in the lives of seniors every day. Parrish served as a signalman in the U.S. Navy before attending Mars Hill University in North Carolina where he received a BS degree in Sports Management. He and his wife, Jyoti, have three daughters.
Patrick Jajua, Health & Wellness Director
Patrick began his healthcare career as an advocate for adults with intellectual disabilities. He later shifted to senior care and held positions in skilled nursing, home care, personal and assisted living.
Helping people to maintain and improve their best possible quality of life is what fuels him. “It’s all about establishing a relationship of trust,” Says Patrick, “not only with residents, but their families, too.”
Judy Brackenrig, Director of Sales & Marketing
A native Aussie, Judy worked with the largest residential real estate developer in Australia before emigrating to the States to be close to her adult children. Since 2008, Judy has worked in Senior Living, a career that’s proved a perfect match for her. She loves building real relationships and helping seniors and their families navigate the process of finding their next home.
Tess Headen, Associate Executive Director
Tess Headen brings extensive public health and senior living experience plus a BS degree from Gwynedd Mercy University to her role as Associate Executive Director at The 501. When not fulfilling her duties as the Associate Executive Director, Tess dedicates her time working for an organization that serves and protects women who are survivors of human trafficking and sexual trauma. Tess lives in Lansdale, PA with her husband Rev. W. Douglas Banks. As a First Lady of her church, Tess is committed and dedicated to her community. She is the proud mother of five sons. Tess enjoys cheering for her sons at their sports engagements, reading and spending time with family and friends.
Joyce Coleman, Director of Training and Lifestyle
Joyce is an exceptionally talented, creative and result-oriented Director with an extensive work background as a dynamic developer of new initiatives and trends using both traditional & non-traditional innovative therapeutic approaches. As a visionary, she thinks outside the box and contributes towards effective creative methods for seniors in all levels of care. She is an Alzheimer’s educator with exemplary presentation skills and experienced in providing psycho-social support (along with emotional support and guidance) to those living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease or another related dementia, and their care partners and families. She comes with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and over 22 years of experience.
Larry Hughes, Maintenance Director
Larry has many years of Senior Living leadership experience and is thrilled to be joining our wonderful community. Larry studied to be a nurse early in his career until shifting gears and getting his HVAC certification which ultimately led him into the building maintenance profession. Larry enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and bird watching in his free time.
Latasha Payne, Finance Director
Latasha is a dedicated and detailed-oriented property accountant with over 17 years of experience in corporate accounting and finance. Latasha received her BS in Finance and Banking from the 1st degree granting HBCU, Lincoln University. This Philadelphia native excels in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance for residential properties. She partners closely with property managers and directors to support their financial goals. With over 8 years of experience in Senior Living, Latasha loves helping her residents as much and she loves working on an excel spreadsheet. She’s known around the community for her love of numbers, her passion for fashion and her willingness to always help.
Angela Williams, Director of Food & Beverage
Originally from Massachusetts, Angela Williams came to Philadelphia to attend Temple University and never left. Over the past 30 years, she has built a life and career in the region she now proudly calls home. With a lifelong background in the hospitality industry, Angela has worked in every facet of restaurants and private country clubs. Her deep understanding of service, paired with her passion for creating memorable experiences, shines through in everything she does. Angela is dedicated to delivering an upscale yet casual dining experience, one that celebrates great food, warm hospitality, and the joy of gathering together. Angela is also the proud mother of three children, who continue to inspire her both personally and professionally.
Jason MacDonald, Executive Chef
Jason spent his early career working for Chef Jean Marie Lacroix at his eponymous restaurant at the Rittenhouse Hotel. He followed that with a long stint working up the ranks at the original Four Seasons Hotel and The Fountain Restaurant under Chef Martin Hamann. He spent several years in New York City under the tutelage of Chef Daniel Boulud at db Bistro Moderne and other locations, honing his craft and emerging as a young leader in the kitchen. Jason then took a position at Gramercy Tavern under Chef Michael Anthony, and restaurateur Danny Meyer. Learning invaluable lessons of enlightened hospitality, from the team that wrote the book “Setting the Table”. Jason’s more recent roles include time as chef at Fork Restaurant and A. Kitchen and Bar in Philadelphia. Writing seasonal menus with a focus on local sourcing and sustainability. When he’s not at work or chauffeuring children, he’s likely hitting the Mahoning Drive-In with his wife and their 3 children and watching movies.
Ketty Pointe-Jour, Social Worker
Ketty is a dedicated Social Worker with over 27 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities in need. With a passion for transforming challenges into opportunities, she connects people with life-enhancing resources and services. Ketty is also an Ordained Minister who extends her reach through national and international missions, contributing to medical, educational, and humanitarian relief efforts. Her commitment to serving others is driven by a profound desire to make a meaningful difference, empowering those she serves to thrive and inspiring hope for a brighter future. Ketty is a native of Brooklyn, New York. She resides in Montgomery County with her family.
Elizabeth Osei, Resident Services Director
Elizabeth has always had the passion to care for the aged. She started her journey in the health field in 2013 as a CNA with Manor Care. In 2015, she attained her Medication Technician Certification and worked as a med-tech in Bensalem. She embraced this new opportunity and enjoyed caring for the residents. She grew up in rank as a shift supervisor on weekends and worked as a med-tech during the weekdays. Liz then transitioned into several different leadership roles with our previous management company. Liz was part of our opening team at The 501 where she served as our Memory Care Director before becoming our Resident Services Director in 2023.
Marnie Pascuzzi, Memory Care Director
Marnie received her BFA from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she majored in Sculpture and earned her certificate of completion of the Art Therapy program. Although the creative arts bring her joy, her true passion lies in her work with the senior population. Marnie brings over 22 years of experience working in skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care settings. She is a Dementia Care Partner with the AFA, is trained in the Montessori approach to senior care, and has led support groups for caregivers of loved ones living with dementia. Marnie lives in Ambler with her three children. In her spare time, she enjoys watching documentaries, reading, and spending time with her family.
Candise Smart, Sales Specialist
Candise is a native of the Montgomery County area. After graduating from Germantown Academy and Pine Manor College, Boston, she returned to the area and has been living in Fort Washington/Ambler for 25+ years. She has a blended family with seven grown children who keep her and her husband busy traveling and enjoying life! Before starting at The 501, she was a Customer Concierge with Toll Brothers and has spent many years as a caregiver and hospice volunteer.
Meg Leddy, Sales Coordinator
Meg grew up in Allentown, PA, and graduated from Lehigh University with a Marketing degree. From there, her career took her to San Francisco, New York City, Washington, DC, Maryland, New Jersey and now back to Pennsylvania, to be closer to family. Meg has been part of The 501 team since its start. She has found her true passion in senior living through her connections with residents, their families, and learning their stories and legacies.
Outside of work, Meg’s joy in life is spending time with her husband, Terry, sons Topher and Will, and three hilarious retrievers.
